Collaboration is Part of the Process

This is the space where our students can come together to talk about their projects, to pose questions to each other, to celebrate small victories ("I did an interview today!"), and to work out their analysis of data. It's a virtual classroom-away-from-the-classroom for both of our sections. YAY!

EEEE! i am soo excited! I just found this guy named David Hayano who wrote TONSS of articles in academic journals about the life of professional poker players. He did field work for years and even refers to them as a subculture! I can't believe I havent found him before in my research but im soo glad I did. He discusses every single question I wanted to answer thru my project! Its all the secondary sources I need! WOO HOOO

I finally got to interview my mom (and i gotta love how she referred to me in the 3rd person, even though i was interviewing her. Haha). Hopefully, I'll be able to interview another mom and my social worker witihin the next week or two...it's just a bit hard sometimes, because of my schedule and prior commitments. However (as Gloria Gaynor once said), I will survive. Haha. Will post my "clown" pics another time, cuz I think I have to upload them to my photobucket before I can post them here.
